Lebenslang ist nicht unmenschlich

Das deutsche Strafrecht ist menschenrechtskonform. Der Europäische Gerichtshof für Menschenrechte (EGMR) hat die Klage eines Dreifach-Mörders zurückgewiesen, der mehr als 20 Jahre nach seiner Verurteilung in einem deutschen Gefängnis einsitzt und offenbar wenig Aussicht hat, jemals freizukommen. Da dabei dennoch eine Überprüfung rechtlich möglich sei, liege keine Verletzung von Art 3 EMRK (“Niemand darf der Folter oder unmenschlicher oder erniedrigender Strafe oder Behandlung unterworfen werden”) vor, so der EGMR laut Pressemitteilung.
